As mediocre as the Cleveland Indians are, Jeremy Bonderman probably wants no
part of them.
Winless in six starts against Cleveland, Bonderman and the Detroit Tigers begin
a nine-game homestand with a three-game set against the Indians.
Bonderman is 0-4 against the Indians with a 7.55 ERA.
He has given up three home runs in his last three outings against the Indians, and 10 of the 28 he's allowed in his career have come against Cleveland. In Sunday's 9-7 loss at Jacobs Field, Bonderman allowed seven runs and eight hits in 5 1-3 innings.
The Tigers haven't won consecutive games since their season-opening four-game winning streak and are coming off a 4-3 defeat to Minnesota on Thursday.

Brandon Inge went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and two walks in the loss.
Mike Maroth, who last year became the first AL pitcher since 1980 to lose at
least 20 games, was tagged with his first loss of the season.
``I think we should've won the game,'' said Maroth, who received little run support last season. ``That's the difference between this year's offensive team and last year.''
The Indians, meanwhile, are coming off a 5-4 win over Kansas City on Thursday.
Omar Vizquel became the 230th player to reach 2,000 hits with his eighth-inning single as the Indians rallied from a two-run deficit.
``What made it so special was that we came from behind,'' said Vizquel, who started his 16-year career with Seattle. ``That's something we've struggled with all year.''
The Indians, who have dropped three straight away from Jacobs Field, are beginning
a five-game road trip.
