The Toronto Blue Jays look to build some momentum as they conclude a three-game
series with the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards.
The Blue Jays, off to a franchise-worst 5-12 start, will try to win just their
second series of the season. Frank Catalanotto's tiebreaking single in the 12th
inning gave Toronto a 5-4 win in the middle game on Saturday.
``I'm starting to see real signs of our offense starting to come back and grind out at-bats,'' Blue Jays manager Carlos Tosca said. ``I'm hoping we win this series and win the next one and the next. ... There has to be some consistency.''
Toronto has come from behind in four of its wins.
``It's been real tough for us lately -- we haven't been swinging the bats the way we're capable,'' said Blue Jays catcher Kevin Cash, who homered. ``So it's good when we can overcome what happened today and get a win.

Blue Jays center fielder Vernon Wells went 0-for-7 Saturday, and has just one
home run and three RBIs in his last 10 games. He hit .317 with 33 home runs
and 117 RBIs last season.
Miguel Tejada had three hits, including a homer, and two RBIs for the Orioles, who had won seven of eight. Javy Lopez also drove in two runs.
Baltimore is trying to win three straight series for the first time this season, and will have No. 1 starter Sidney Ponson on the mound to help them do so.
Ponson, who had 58 wins coming into this season compared to just 10 for the rest of the Orioles rotation, has manager Lee Mazzilli's confidence.
``You'd like to think your No. 1 guy can rise to the occasion in those situations,''
Mazzilli said. ``Sidney is our guy and he will do well.''
